It’s there in your sneeze, it’s there in your cough
It’s there when you kiss, it’s there when you laugh
So don’t you dare do any of these things
Else you will be giving the virus wings
Just stay at home; don’t come out
Keep giving the experts the benefit of doubt
But sometime, something is bound to crack
And the virus will sneak in; it has that knack
Think for yourself: What would you do
If you were the virus and the virus were you?
Then outguess the other, think one step ahead
Think of the living, think of the dead
Think of the disease, think of the cure
Someone will succeed, of that I am sure
But whether virus or human: the jury is out
A truce may be called: till the next bout
