Those words seem prophetic indeed
The strong government does what it can
And the weak suffer what they must
Demonetisation happens
By executive fiat
And
Kashmir is divided
By due legislative process
And
The destruction of a mosque is legitimised
By the judiciary

But in Palestine long ago
Another famous man has said this, too
“Blessed are the meek
For they shall inherit the earth”
So we hope and pray
That come what may
Suffer what they must
The weak will have their day
