Big Brother is surely the arch patriarch
(Look at what has happened to the matriarch)
He wags his finger at all of us
And not one dares to make a fuss
His sonorous speeches are ubiquitous
But what on earth do theybequeathus?
Stay at home, bang pots and pans
Switch off the lights (But switch on the fans)
Big Bro reads out a list of things for us to do
And admonishes those who interrupt to
Ask what it is that he is doing;
And then all his bhakts will start booing
The naysayers, and drown out their voices.
In our country, there are only two choices:
Worship Big Bro to the point of adulation
Or put up with all manner of trials and tribulations
